I recently tied out the CycleOn The Valley Ride Foldable Electric Bike, and I am quite disappointed with its performance overall.
The main issue I faced was with the brakes, which kept going loose even after multiple attempts to fix them. I initially tried fixing it on my own, but the problem persisted.
I then took it to a bike shop twice, and while they could temporarily fix it, the brakes kept getting loose again.
This was a major safety concern for me, as it compromised the bike’s overall ride safety.
Despite the brake issue, a few features stood out to me. The 750W motor provided a decent amount of power, allowing me to reach a maximum speed of about 28 miles/hour in mode 3.
Additionally, the 26” X4.0 anti-skid fat tires made it easy to ride on various terrains such as snow, mountains, beaches, and flat roads.
The bike’s foldable design was also convenient for storage and commuting purposes.
However, considering the brake problems I experienced, I cannot recommend this product.
The safety issues outweigh the bike’s positive aspects. Reliable brakes are important, especially when riding at higher speeds.
I believe there are better options available in the market that offer more consistent performance and safety features. I would suggest looking into those alternatives instead.
